so how can i make sure my audio stays in sync with this video i recorded? i went into quicktime and clicked show movie inspector and it says the framerate is 60.00.? what should i do? is there a converter or something? thanks. ![]() its so confusing - all i want to do is cut out all the parts i dont need and trim the video - shouldnt davinci have a variable or adaptive frame rate thing? is there an option for it to just accept my videos frame rate? im kind of new to video editing and as i said i just edit very simply. how do i fix this? i tried changing the FPS rate to 60 but it still goes out of sync and sometimes speeds the video up or slows it down. but this notification doesnt come up when importing my front facing camera videos or monitor captured videos with OBS. Like i said, i dont have this problem when i record a video with my rear iPhone 6 camera, when i import it simply says "framerate of your video doesnt match the timeline" (or something) and i just click the change button and everything is all good. it plays perfectly fine and audio is in sync before i import it into DaVinci, when i import it, the audio slowly drifts out of sync, and at the end of this 22 minute video, the audio is around 15-25 seconds out of sync. and now, i just recorded a video with OBS (open broadcast software) in 1920-1080p 60 fps, downscaled to 1280-720, and 60fps. but some times, say if i record a video with the front facing camera on my iPhone, the audio drifts out of sync. maybe add text here and there and it works amazing. Hi all, i really just use Davinci for simple video editing, (I.E, Cutting parts out where there was silence etc) for YouTube.
